Hidden Prairie treats are available in assorted sizes and densities to suit different chewers, with options including Beef, Bison, and Lamb varieties. The innovative ‘Tartar Bandits’ are guaranteed to reduce tartar during chewing.
Hidden Prairie Tartar Bandits are the ideal tartar control bones for several reasons. Tartar Bandits are sourced from the knee cap area naturally resulting in a softer density, ‘chewy’ bone. The Tartar Bandits irregular shape encourages dogs to keep repositioning the bone in different areas of their mouth, while the grizzle and cartilage around the center of the bone acts like dental floss to clean in between the teeth. Also, like other natural bones, Tartar Bandits cause a chemical reaction with the dogs saliva to produce an enzyme that helps break down tartar. Hidden Prairie recommends offering 2-3 Tartar Bandit bones per week as part of a good dental health plan for a dog.
