Harnesses
Bosleys carriers cat harnesses in two styles, and and array of color choices, to keep curious kitties safe when they go outside to explore. The two styles of cat harnesses have very identifying descriptions, one being a Figure H style cat harness, and the other a Figure 8 harness.
Figure H
The Figure H style harness has two adjustable loops connected with a strip of non adjustable fabric between them, which sits on the cats back. While the H style harness is comfortable, it is not recommended for cats that do not want to wear the harness and may wiggle about as they may pull their arms thru the loops and escape. For this reason, the Figure 8 style harness is recommended for kitties that are first venturing out into the world.
Figure 8
The Figure 8 shape is one continuous loop of fabric that crosses over the back in an X, and is fully adjustable. To fit a Figure 8 harness the pet parent needs to undo the belly buckle, and widen the first loop- which is placed over the cats head so it sits with the X clasp over the center of their back, then the two ends need to be buckled under the cats belly. Because of the way this style of harness fits across the back there is little danger of a cat pulling their arms out, and so it is more secure.
Bosleys carries both styles of cat harnesses under the Coastal brand name with one being called the Figure H Cat Harness, and the figure 8 design being called the Size Right Cat Harness, due to its increased adjustability.
